Our Story

How RackRenew came to exist

Every year, the world’s largest hyperscalers, Meta, Google, Oracle, retire millions of servers. Not because those servers stop working, but because hyperscale operations run on tight performance and density cycles. The hardware is still powerful. It just needs a second life.

RackRenew was built to capture that opportunity. As a dedicated brand of Sims Lifecycle Services, we have direct, consistent access to decommissioned OCP infrastructure at hyperscale volume. We remanufacture it to original specifications, validate it against enterprise requirements, and deliver it globally, typically at 40–70% below the cost of equivalent new hardware.

The result: enterprise-grade compute and storage, proven in the most demanding environments on earth, available faster than new, and with near zero embodied carbon.

What sets us apart

Four reasons enterprises choose RackRenew

We are not a typical refurb reseller. Our position in the market is structurally different, and that difference translates directly into value for you.

Only OCP. Only Remanufactured.

The only global supplier exclusively focused on remanufactured Open Compute Project infrastructure. Not refurbished 19″ rack servers, hyperscale OCP platforms: Leopard V2, Tioga Pass, Yosemite V2, remanufactured to OEM specification.

Direct from Hyperscale. No Middlemen.

Our supply chain flows directly from hyperscalers through Sims Lifecycle Services’ global Circular Centers. No secondary markets, no aggregators. Consistent quality, genuine provenance, and pricing that reflects reality.

Production-Ready in 2–4 Weeks.

While new OCP hardware procurement typically runs 12–24 weeks, RackRenew ships standard configurations in 2–4 weeks from order confirmation. Infrastructure no longer has to be the bottleneck on your project timeline.
